The Frederick Fight Club has a new Instructor!

Vicente Jr. is the only real Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt in the area. He is an instructor for team Delariva. With this addition the Frederick Fight Club will be competing under the Team Delariva name.

FFC Congratulates MARK TSIKERDANOS! He adds yet more wins to his record after defeating all opponents at the Eastern Nationals Wrestling Tournament. He won both the Sectional  and Regional Middle Atlantic Wrestling Association tournaments to advance to the Eastern national tournament where he showed his Mad Skills!!!

These Guys are the Best in the World!

The Frederick Fight Club sent 9 fighters to the National Kickboxing Championship in Columbus Ohio. The team came back with 4 Gold metals and 1 silver metal to win the Team of the Year trophy. Way to go fighters!!

On April 16 Frederick Fight Club's Brevan Woydziak won the 2010 "Sectional Golden Gloves Championship" in Waldorf, MD. This is his second Golden Gloves Championship victory within the past couple weeks. Brevan, with his undeafeted record, now moves on to Kansas City, Kansas for the National Golden Gloves ongratulations to FFC's John Michael McCaffrey for his brutal win in a Thai fight that was held in Pennsylvania last night (04-17-2010). John's devastating leg kicks told the story of this fight. John's heavy-handed punching and explosive knees clearly did not make his opponent feel comfortable in that ring. Congratulations to FFC's Dillon Hayman for another dominant performance in a Thai fight located in Pennsylvania tonight (04-17-2010). Dillon walked through his opponent with leaping knees, hard leg kicks and a variety of not-so-polite punches to the face and body of his adversary. Another day... Another Thai fight... Another win for Dillon. Great work! Congratulations to Travis Diehl... He took a very short notice Muay Thai fight against a bigger opponent just to help out a fellow promoter in Pennsylvania. Travis left it all in the ring, as many of us would say. He fought his heart out in a very entertaining bout against a tough opponent.CHRIS BOWER, the first FFC BJJ competitor to win the BJJ ABSOULTE DIVISION at the Ultimate Grappler's Championship! His award? A big shiny gold Championship Belt! He was truly the best of the best today and won 5 matches to prove it! WE ARE VERY PROUD OF YOU, CHRIS! Frederick Fight Club - Maryland would like to congratulate SCOTT COVINGTON for winning the Gold in his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu division at the Ultimate Grappler's Challenge in Hamburg, PA today! Two great wins by submission! Armbar in 1min 1 second during the first match and another armbar in 49 seconds in his second match! AWESOME JOB!!

Frederick Fight Club is very proud of all of our members that competed in the NAGA tournament in DC this month. We had 9 guys go and they took 6 Gold and 2 Silver Medals. Way to go guys!!!

Chris Bower wins 10 in a row to take home 2 Gold Medals at the Battle at the the Beach NAGA Tournament.

"Crazy hair"  Joao Moncaio has been with Pablo Popovich for years as his training partner and lead instructor.

He is an American Top Team Champion, Multiple Time NagaChampion
Atlantic Cup Champion, Rio Fight Wear Champione currently trains out of the BJJ Center in Fort Lauderdale Florida.

Joao trains daily with Pablo Popovich (BJJ Hall of Famer and the #1 ranked BJJ grappler in the world)
